Idaho Fish and Game takes pride in actively managing and protecting the State’s wildlife for today and the future. Public input, and maximizing the public’s opportunity to hunt, fish and trap, are cornerstones in IDFG’s decision making process, when it aligns with conservation objectives outlined in species’ management plans. For this reason, IDFG is requesting your input on the hunting and trapping seasons for Idaho’s upland game, turkey, and furbearers to better understand hunters’ preferences. This information will be used to develop recommendations that will be presented to the Commission for their consideration at the January 2026 Commission Meeting.
