(Pocatello Chubbuck School District 25 Press Release, December 5, 2025)

POCATELLO, ID—Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 is excited to announce that on Monday, December 8 through Friday, December 12, select PCSD 25 elementary school classrooms will empower their learners with hands-on tools to understand artificial intelligence, create with it, and explore how they can shape the future of this rapidly evolving technology.

Learners and educators across PCSD 25 elementary schools will join a growing global movement known as the Hour of AI, a classroom experience designed to help learners explore how AI works and how to use it responsibly. This initiative builds on the worldwide success of the Hour of Code, which has introduced more than 100 million students to computer science.

During the Hour of AI, teachers will guide learners through activities that bring artificial intelligence concepts to life—fostering both curiosity and digital literacy. In total, PCSD 25 elementary learners across the district will take part in this groundbreaking effort, joining countless classrooms across the region and around the world.

Members of the media are invited to see firsthand how learners are engaging in their first on-campus AI literacy lessons.

PCSD 25 welcomes media coverage of this inspiring moment as learners take their first steps into a future they will help build.
