Pocatello Animal Services Launches Annual Holiday Pet Food Drive

Pocatello Animal Services is kicking off its annual Holiday Pet Food Drive, running December 5 through January 4. The department is collecting wet and dry dog and cat food, pet treats, litter, toys, and other pet supplies to help support pets and families in need throughout the community.

“Our mission extends beyond our shelter walls,” said Sarah Moore, Animal Services Program Coordinator. “We are here to help the pets and people in our community stay together, even through tough times, and make sure no pet goes without a full bowl.”

To view adoptable pets, visit pocatello.gov/animal or follow facebook.com/PocatelloAnimalServices. All adoptions include vaccinations, a collar, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip.

The Pocatello Animal Shelter is open Mon–Fri, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sat, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; closed Sundays and holidays. For more information or pet food assistance, call 208-234-6156.
