(Bannock County Press Release, December 12, 2025)
Despite the dry December we’ve had so far, we are still ramping up for snowmobile season! For all our sled heads out there, here’s an exciting update.
This year, Bannock County’s Snowgroomer team was able to add a new cutoff trail in the Inman area—the Wood/Hornet Connector—to our weekly grooming schedule. This addition helps our operators save time by reducing backtracking on a system that can take up to two full shifts to groom. It also provides riders with an additional groomed trail to enjoy.

Want to get involved? Join the Snowgroomer Advisory Committee!
The Bannock County Snowgroomer Advisory Committee has two spots open. All that’s asked is you attend a monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of each month from November to March. You’d get to weigh in on decisions that affect these groomed trails.
Apply now at www.bannockcounty.gov/snowgroomer/. For questions, call 208-236-7210.
Get ready for the season!
We also want to remind riders how important it is to buy your Snowmobile Stickers and select the region you plan to ride in. These funds go directly into our grooming budget, allowing us to maintain and improve the trail system each year. Your support helps us keep trails smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
