Pocatello–The East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center’s popular “Ski for Free” Day has been rescheduled due to the unseasonably mild weather. The new date is January 31, 2026. The City Calendar offers the following details about the event:
Join us for a totally free day of skiing or snowshoeing. Free day passes and free rentals. Mini lessons available to help get you going! Please be prepared to wait for rentals. Last rentals go out at 4PM. Sponsored by ICCU!
The Nordic Center is located on East Fork Mink Creek Rd. During ski season, the area is staffed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
