The Bannock County Coroner’s Office, in cooperation with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, has confirmed the cause and manner of death of 19-year-old Jonas Diaz-Edgeman who was found in Inkom on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025.
Cause of Death: Hypothermia with alcohol intoxication
Manner of Death: Accidental
Next of kin has been notified.
“The sudden loss of Jonas deeply impacted a lot of people in our community, and I hope that by answering these outstanding questions we can bring some closure to those who were close to him. I extend my deepest condolences to his friends and family as they navigate these circumstances,” said Coroner Torey Danner.
