Idaho Falls–Wednesday, January 28st – Brad Buttars and Darrell Ker, Update on What’s Happening with Idaho’s Water?
Brad Buttars, Manager of Bonneville-Jefferson Groundwater District, and Darrel Ker, Chairman of the Enterprise Canal, Chairman of Ririe Reservoir/Mitigation Inc, and member of the Committee of Nine (the 9 people that run the Snake River) will update us on what’s happening with Idaho’s water.
Brad and Darrel both attended the Annual Water Users Association Convention held January 19th-22nd in Boise. They will update us on what happened at the convention, as well as discussing aquifer recharge pits and other activities and issues regarding Idaho’s water.
We have witnessed the issues associated with Idaho’s water and the impacts water shortages can have on Idaho. With this year’s mild winter and lack of snow in the lower elevations, the potential lack of water is a very important topic of discussion. Don’t miss this one.
Attendance to our Town Halls is free but donations are greatly appreciated. We are an IRS 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.
