UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COMMUNITY NIGHT AT THE NORDIC CENTER WILL STILL BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 4, 2026, BUT THE RENTALCENTER WILL BE CLOSED. ATTENDEES MUST BRING THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT.

The East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center will be holding a community night on Wednesday, February 4.

The City of Pocatello website describes the event as follows:

Join Outdoor Rec and the Poky Ski Foundation for fun, skiing/snowshoeing and socializing! Free trail passes and half-priced rental equipment from 4–9PM for all attendees! Join in the competition at the friendly ski race. Not into racing? New to skiing — enjoy a free mini lesson with staff. Stay afterward for a potluck in the yurt! Not a cooking pro? You can bring anything. It doesn’t have to be themed [February’s theme is Italian food], just be sure to bring food equivalent to your group size.
