The Bannock County Coroner’s Office, in cooperation with Pocatello Police, has confirmed the identity of the deceased found in a mobile home in the 1900 block of South 5th Avenue on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Deceased: Christina McCarty Varner, 64, of Pocatello
Next of kin has been notified.
The incident remains under investigation by Pocatello Police.
“My heart goes out to Christina’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time,” said Coroner Torey Danner.
