Pocatello’s POW*MIA Awareness Association is all about supporting the American heroes, too often forgotten, that fought for the freedoms we all enjoy as Americans.  The nonprofit organization is dedicated to the financial support & public awareness of the Prisoner of War*Missing in Action (POW*MIA) issue, Idaho State Veteran’s Home in Pocatello, and special charities in the local community that need their support.

The group is very active in the local community, and has a hard-working, dedicated membership, that also knows how to have fun.  One of the most popular annual events they hold is the POW*MIA Awareness Association Rally and Motorcycle Rodeo.  Planning is currently underway for the 21st annual event, which will be held at the Bannock County Event Center – Fairgrounds on July 23 and 24 this year.  This is a fun event for the whole family, and is not to be missed!

If you are interested in being part of this organization, or just want to learn more about them, plan to attend their monthly meeting, this Friday, April 16, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Liberty Hall Event Center, 325 W. Benton Street in Pocatello.  Prospective members can learn more about the group, here:
