The POW*MIA Awareness Association’s 21st Annual Rally & Rodeo is this coming Friday, July 23, and Saturday, July 24, at the Bannock County Event Center in Pocatello.

This year’s event, with the theme, “Barely Legal,” features all the great shows that audiences have come to enjoy.

The gates open on Friday at 1:00 p.m., and at 3:00 p.m. the world’s largest POW*MIA flag raising takes place.  The Stasia Acrobats perform at 4:00 p.m., and the Scarlet Rain Concert & Illumination Manipulation Poi Light Show begins at 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday the gates open at 8:00 a.m. followed by the fun run.  Motorcycle rodeo events take place throughout the day, including the Kids Rodeo.  The Tribute is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. followed by the P-51 Fly By at 1:30.  The evening’s entertainment features the Cold Dark Whiskey Concert & Illumination Manipulation Poi Light Show.

The cost for entry is only $15 per person, and includes both Friday and Saturday admission.  For those ages 14-18, the cost of admission is $10.  Veterans with ID and children under 13 may attend for free.
