As parents across the nation push back on left-wing indoctrination in the schools, more and more people have woken up to the fact that students are frequently being fed propaganda instead of being taught critical thinking skills. John Stossel, the Libertarian American television personality, author, and journalist, is looking to change that through the Stossel in the Classroom, “Both Sides of the Issue” series of videos.
The Stossel in the Classroom website says, “We created this series to help teachers present balanced lessons on topics that John Stossel addresses. Each month, we pair two of John’s videos with videos representing opposing arguments. Our goal is to provide teachers and students with different viewpoints and encourage open discussion and critical thinking.”
A wide range of currently debated topics, about five dozen issues, are covered. Among many others, these include:
- The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin
- Is Nuclear Power the Answer
- Capitalism and Poverty
- Was Snowden Right or Wrong
- Should Facebook Censor Political Posts
