Dear Editor,

I have lived in Pocatello my entire life, almost 60 years.  During that time, I have developed some amazing friendships with good and caring people of integrity.  One of those friendships is with Clayton Armstrong, who is currently running for the Pocatello-Chubbuck SD-25 School Board.

Over the years, I’ve been able to see the strong character traits that Clayton possesses which have allowed him to be a successful teacher, coach, small business owner, father, and friend.

Clayton is a man who will dedicate himself, 100%, to improve himself, and to help his fellow man and his community.  His career speaks to this dedication.  He was a dedicated wrestler through high school and college and worked hard to become one of Idaho’s best.  Taking up running, he dedicated himself to working out every day.  When he became a teacher and coach, what stood out was his commitment to his profession and to his students.  His dedication to his students has changed many lives in Pocatello and Chubbuck for the better.

As a young man, Clayton was taught the value of hard work.  Early in his teaching career, he started a successful landscaping business.  Owning this business allowed him to hire many students, helping them also incorporate the value of working hard into their lives.

Clayton is a patriot.  He loves his country, his community, and he is a man of faith.

Clayton’s entire life has been spent improving himself and helping others.  In my experience, it is rare to find someone like Clayton who, at a time of life when he could be sitting back and enjoying the fruits of his labor, has once again stepped forward to serve his community.  His honest desire to help others be their best will be a tremendous asset to the Pocatello-Chubbuck School Board.

I am proud to support my friend, Clayton Armstrong, for Pocatello-Chubbuck School Board.  I can promise you that, if you elect him, you will not be disappointed.
