Zoo Idaho will be holding Science Talks in February and March in the education building at Zoo Idaho in Pocatello.

A notice about the events posted on the City of Pocatello website reads, “Learn about topics ranging from fish biology to fire science and everything in between.  This is your chance to talk with the experts and investigate what makes Idaho unique!  Science Talks are held in the education building at Zoo Idaho.  Want to join us online?  Please contact us for the Zoom link(s).

February 17 – Clay Woods, Airshed Coordinator (Air quality as it relates to pollution, weather, and wildlife smoke)

February 24 – Dr. Chuck Peterson, Herpetologist (Community and citizen science)

March 3 – Idaho Fish and Game (Idaho wildlife)

March 10 – Derek Tilley, NRCS (Conservation and restoration of intermountain rangelands)”
