As reported in multiple news outlets, Citigroup is now paying the travel expenses for employees seeking abortions. According to a public filing in advance of an April shareholders meeting, the new policy is “in response to changes in reproductive healthcare laws in certain states in the US.” Employees in pro-life states with laws restricting abortions are eligible for the new “benefit.”
