Calling all kids! The POW*MIA Awareness Rally includes a Kids Bicycle Rodeo. This year the Kids Rodeo will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, during the Rally. The event is sponsored by Bikers for Christ, ByRoan’s Pocatello Cycle, and POW*MIA Association members The Soda Gang and The Birds.
Although there is a fee to enter the rally for adults and children aged 14 and older, there is no additional entry fee to enter the bicycle rodeo, and there are prizes for all entries, including bicycles, goodie bags, and more.
The bicycle rodeo is for two-wheeled bicycles only. No training wheels or scooters are permitted. Events include a slow race, slalom, ‘thread the needle,’ and balance beam. There are two age categories for entrants, 5-8 and 9-12.
