POCATELLO–Zoo Idaho and Idaho HealthCorps are offering free microgreen classes in the first half of August.  Participants will learn to grow, tend, and use microgreens, and will be able to bring home kits for future use.  The Zoo’s announcement explains, “Don’t think you have a green thumb? Don’t worry, ‘beleaf’ in yourself! We’ll teach you all you need to know about how to grow these little plants packed with nutrients and give you the tools you need to get started!”

Each hour-long class will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Zoo Idaho Treehouse at 2900 South 2nd Avenue in Pocatello.  The class will be offered four times:

  • Monday, August 1
  • Thursday, August 4
  • Monday, August 8
  • Thursday, August 11
