POCATELLO–Pastor Courtney Lewis, of Chicago’s Cornerstone Baptist Church, will preach two messages on Sunday, July 24, at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, located at 202 S. 7th Ave. in Pocatello. Pastor Lewis is well-known for keeping his church open during the pandemic in spite of Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s threats. (That story can be read here.)
Pastor Lewis was also the featured speaker at MVBC’s teen camp this week. Each evening, his dynamic preaching challenged the teens to make God the focus of their lives.
The church looks forward to hearing him address the entire congregation on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and invites the community to join them for both services.
