POCATELLO–The Bill Parrish Family 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is less than two weeks away! This year’s tournament will be held at Highland High School on August 5-6. The Chubbuck Lions Club gives more details: “As in years past, there will be round robin play on Friday night, August 5th, followed by double-elimination tournament games the next day. Play on Saturday will continue until the brackets are completed. We are thrilled to see everyone again, and welcome many new teams and participants.”
If you’d like to support this effort, but basketball isn’t really your thing, volunteers are needed for everything from set-up on Thursday to scorekeeping and officiating during the event.
Funds raised at the tournament will be used to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, and to support the Lion’s Club’s mission to preserve sight and hearing.
