Pocatello PD: Update to the Suspicious Death from July 31st, 2022

An autopsy was conducted on August 2^nd, 2022 in furtherance of the investigation into the suspicious death from July 31^st, 2022.  Pending the results of the autopsy, which could take several weeks, no new information will be released, including names of involved parties as it is an ongoing investigation.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. July 31, 2022, Pocatello Dispatch sent officers to the 948 N 10^th regarding a suspicious unattended death. The female resident was reported deceased and the circumstances are under ongoing investigation. Investigators are requesting an autopsy pursuant to their investigation. There is no danger to the public.
