Chubbuck, ID–Late Tuesday night, a man was shot and killed outside the Extended Stay Hotel on W Burnside Ave. in Chubbuck.
Yesterday, the Bannock County Coroners Office and the Chubbuck Police Department announced that the victim is 49-year-old John Carl Walker, of Chubbuck.
A person of interest in the shooting, Teshombee Quamayne Lang, was arrested by Chubbuck police, and subsequently charged with Manslaughter and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
The Chubbuck Police Department states: “Due to the sensitive nature of this case, no further information will be able to be released.”
The Pocatello Police Department and the Bannock County Sheriff’s Department also assisted in the investigation.
