Fort Hall, ID–On September 21, 2022, at approximately 6:38 PM, the Fort Hall Police Department received a call-in reference to an accident at the intersection of Reservation Road and Rio Vista Road. It was reported that one vehicle was on fire and the other vehicle was a potato truck.

Upon initial investigation it is believe that the passenger car was traveling east on Reservation Road and was occupied by Delight Moemberg, Deborah Pabawena, Philip Ponzo, and Feadem Fidim. They were all declared deceased from injuries sustained from the accident by the Bannock County Coroner.

The other vehicle involved was a Searle Farms potato truck driven by Guadalupe Camagro-Rangel. He was driving North on Rio Vista Road when the accident occurred he was transported to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment for injuries.

The cause of the accident if currently under investigation by the Fort Hall Police Department and the Idaho State Police. The families of the individuals involved have been notified. The Fort Hall Police Department would like to offer our deepest condolences to all families involved in this tragic accident.
