After a hiatus of more than twelve months, Governor Little’s ‘Capital for a Day’ program is set to resume on Thursday, September 29.  From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that day, the governor and members of his cabinet will conduct business in Carey, ID.

Carey is a town of approximately 600 people, located along the Little Wood River in Blaine County.

The website for the Office of the Governor offers more information about the ‘Capital for a Day’ program: Governor Little brings state government to Idaho communities through the “Capital for a Day” program. By bringing members of the Governor’s Cabinet to a rural town in a different Idaho county every month, residents are able to address their issues directly with the Governor and his administration for an entire day. Idahoans are encouraged to ask questions, share their opinions, and seek answers from state agencies.
