Pocatello–After an 80 year absence, the return of the “Pocatello Veterans Day Parade” is almost here! An A-10 Warthog Flyover will start the parade moving at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12.
The parade will begin at S 1st Avenue and E Center Street. It will proceed east on Center Street past Caldwell Park, before turning south on S 15th Avenue and ending at Reed Gym.
Local radio personality Paul Anderson will emcee the parade from Caldwell Park, announcing details of each parade entry as it passes. ISU will assist with livestreaming the event on Facebook and YouTube.
Limited seating will be available at Caldwell Park for those watching the parade. There will also be booths set up in the park to share information about Veterans Service Organizations, the Military branches, and community clubs.
All booths, floats, or other parade entries must be approved by the parade committee.
