Chubbuck–Last night’s chilly weather was no deterrent to the crowd who gathered at Idaho Coffee Company to celebrate the new shop’s opening with owners Joe and Deidra Terrell.  Several dozen people came to watch as the Terrells cut the ribbon in front of the coffee house, and stayed until dusk to visit and sample treats.  Idaho Coffee Company provided their signature coffee, wassail (a traditional spiced apple drink, served steaming hot), and sugar cookies.  The Poky Pretzel Cart offered both their original and cinnamon pretzels, served warm.

Before cutting the ribbon with scissors provided by the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce, Joe took a minute to thank their close friends, family, and business partners.  “Thank you to everyone! We’re so excited to get this coffee shop going and be a big part of the community here, and just give back all we can,” Terrell said. “And thanks to God, and thanks to my wife most of all, who I couldn’t do this without.”

Idaho Coffee Company is a local drive-thru coffee shop located at 322 E Chubbuck Road, in Chubbuck.  Veteran and family owned, they offer a variety of custom roasts and original signature drinks that speak to their love of coffee, family business, the great Gem State, and everything local and community-focused.  They are open from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
