Pocatello, ID–Several of the City’s Advisory Boards have current or upcoming vacancies. These volunteer committees advise the City on a variety of special matters, ranging from historic preservation to human rights. Board members are generally required to be 16 years of age or older, and reside in the City of Pocatello. A complete list of the boards, the open seats, and the responsibilities of each can be seen here.
While some of the Advisory Committees can simply allow seats to remain open until filled, three of the committees have a deadline for applications to fill their vacancies.
- The Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee and the Historic Preservation Commission have a deadline of December 16
- The Civil Service Commission, the Construction Board of Appeals and Review, the Human Relations Advisory Committee, and the Pocatello Arts Council have a deadline of December 23
