Chubbuck–The City of Chubbuck invites community members to assist at City Council meetings by giving an invocation or helping with the Pledge of Allegiance. In a social media post last week, they said:
The Chubbuck City Council meets on the First and Third Wednesday at 6pm each month and is looking for volunteers in assisting with the invocation or pledge of allegiance. The Mayor and City Council welcome anyone to participate. The only guidance is that the presentation is limited to three minutes or less and [must] be uplifting in nature.
Citizens who would like to give the invocation or assist in the pledge of allegiance at a future City Council Meeting are asked to contact the Clerks’ Office at 208-237-2400 for scheduling.
