The Bannock County Veterans Memorial Association (BCVMA) is looking for donations to help send some love to our deployed National Guard troops. In a recent social media post, they explain:
The BCVMA is working with a local group that is filling care packages to be sent to our guardsmen and women that are currently deployed. (Your friends, family, neighbors of this area) If you would like to help, please drop items off at the building between 9 and 3pm Monday- Friday. We will be collecting until next Friday the 27th. Items needed/wanted include:
Stressballs- Books
- Rice Crispy Treats
- Small Cookie Packs
- Wipes
- Toothpaste/Brushes/Floss
- Razors
- Q-tips
- Protein Bars
- Powder Drink Packs
- Gum
- Slim Jims
- Fruit Leather
- Trail Mix
- Chapstick
- Tums/Small Health Items
- Suckers
- Small Notes of Support
