Sheriff Seeks Information on Vandalism at Wellness Complex

Sometime on the night of February 7, vandals broke through a fence at the Wellness Complex to spin donuts in the soccer fields. The Portneuf Wellness Complex issued the following plea for tips on their social media page:

They might have had fun, but we’re not laughing.

Sometime on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning (2/7, 2/8), someone thought it would be so fun to drive through our fence on Olympus and onto the soccer fields to spin donuts. The damage they caused will cost us $$$$. (See pics for reference)

So we called the cops and filed a report. And we hope the community will be able to help us track down the person or persons who did this so we can hold them accountable.

The Portneuf Wellness Complex is a community asset enjoyed by tens of thousands of people each year. Thank you to those who help us keep it in good shape for all our users by not causing intentional damage to our park.

Since then, someone has submitted the following video showing a silver or white sedan that is believed to be involved in the incident. The Bannock County Sheriff’s Department requests help from the community to identify this car.
