P.A.G.E. Encourages Residents to Attend Wednesday PDA Meeting, Thursday Council Meeting

If you missed the 03/02/23 meeting, now is your chance to come and peacefully OPPOSE the removal of public comment.

We will continue to oppose this decision EVERY meeting until public comment is reinstated.

Arrive 10 minutes early. Please note a “clarification meeting” starts at 5:30 p.m. and may still be in session up until 6 p.m. This is a business meeting. Please DO NOT be disruptive.

Signage is encouraged that can be displayed before/after the meeting and held on your lap during the meeting.

We’ll bring some of our signs from the last meeting or you can bring your own.

NOTE: The City will be considering the approval of a RESOLUTION supporting the restoration of passenger rail service from Portland, Oregon to Salt Lake City, Utah. (A resolution generally states a position of the city government – not much more.)

The POCATELLO DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (PDA) meets at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 03/15/23 in the City of Pocatello Council Chambers.

On the agenda is a PUBLIC HEARING. The PDA Board of Commissioners will be accepting public comment regarding the PDA 2022 Annual Report and may approve it by Resolution 2022-001 and authorize filing with the Pocatello City Clerk and the State of Idaho Controller’s Office.

There are only 2 opportunities per year to be heard by the PDA – plan to attend! EVERYONE should attend a PDA meeting at least once.
