Washington, D.C. – Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson today announced the upcoming Service Academy Days happening in Idaho’s Second Congressional District.
Service Academy Days provide high school students, parents, and educators the opportunity to listen to Academy Liaisons, Cadets, and Midshipmen talk about their experience at U.S. Military Service Academies, ask questions, and learn about achieving a congressional nomination to a U.S. Service Academy.
“I encourage all interested students to attend this event. Hearing from servicemen and women who have successfully completed the application and nomination process to a U.S. Military Service Academy will be helpful and inspiring for young Idahoans and prospective applicants,”said Simpson.

Students who cannot attend in person are encouraged to join virtually, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1 pm. Virtual participants will be muted, and can use the chat feature in Zoom to ask questions during the presentation. Interested students can contact their school counselor for a link to the meeting.
