Boise–The end of 2023 will also be the end of the chemical and surgical mutilation of Idaho’s children, under a new law signed yesterday evening by Governor Brad Little. The law, titled the Vulnerable Child Protection Act (H71), imposes civil penalties of up to $5,000 for any medical provider who prescribes medication or performs a surgery intended “to alter the appearance of or affirm the child’s perception of the child’s sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child’s biological sex.”

The Vulnerable Child Protection Act takes effect on January 1, 2024.
