Pocatello–A taste of big-city glamour is coming to the Gate City this weekend, as “Dancing with the Pocatello Stars” returns to the stage.

Teams of local dancers and stars will take to the stage to impress the audience with their artistry.  Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite couple through donations.

Proceeds from this year’s event, titled “A Salute to Our Veterans,” will benefit the Joint Emergency Assistance Program (JEAP) Veteran’s Services.  Donations of unopened cat and dog food, and clean blankets, will also be accepted for the Bannock County Humane Society.

“Dancing with the Pocatello Stars” will be held at Frazier Hall, located at 921 S 8th Ave. in Pocatello.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show scheduled to begin at 7:00.  Admission is free for veterans; $1 for students with ID and children 12 and under; $5 for adults; and $15 for families of four.  Cash and checks are accepted.  Area media personalities Misty Inglet and Steve Cannon will emcee the event.
