With the end of the school year right around the corner, it’s time to think about summer recreation!  Pocatello’s Community Recreation Center is gearing up for this year’s swim lessons.  Registration for all group swim classes is now open.

Children from 6 months to 4 years old may enroll in Parent & Child classes, which are held once a week in June, and again in July/early August.  The classes cost $20 for Pocatello residents, and $24 for non-residents.  For more information, or to register your child, go to the City of Pocatello’s Swim Lessons & Dance Classes page, here, or click on the image below:

Older children may enroll in group classes suited to their swimming abilities.  Each class meets four times a week for two weeks, with both morning and evening classes available.  The fee is $40 for residents, and $45 for non-residents.  For more information, or to register your child, go to the City of Pocatello’s Swim Lessons & Dance Classes page, here, or click on the image below:

For those who are unsure of their child’s swim level, the Community Recreation Center will conduct FREE swim assessments on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.  More information is available here.
