DISTRICT COURT (6th Judicial District):
Thru 08/28/23
Rupp v. City of Pocatello – CV03-22-00398 – An appeal was filed with the Idaho Supreme Court on 07/28/23 by the plaintiff. Also, a couple of hearings are scheduled in the coming month or so – one to consider a motion for attorney’s fees and costs on 09/11/23 and another to consider a motion for contempt on 10/02/23.
Staker & Parsons Companies dba Idaho Materials & Construction v. Pocatello Development Authority & City of Pocatello (CV03-22-02569) – A few notices of deposition (and amended notices of deposition) were issued in August. Currently, a jury trial is scheduled for 12/19/23 at 9:00 a.m.

Jackman v. City of Pocatello – Dismissed with Prejudice – 07/19/23
Sheeler v. City of Pocatello, et al – (Case 4:22-cv-00313-DCN). Recent action: The judge issued an order granting a stipulated motion for the transportation of physical evidence across state lines (to be examined by expert) and an order to extend disclosure deadlines for liability experts regarding firearms and ballistics.
