Lava Hot Springs–Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle fatality crash that occurred Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 6:24 a.m., on US30 at milepost 373, near Lava Hot Springs.
A white Ford F150, driven by a 58-year-old male from Bancroft was traveling westbound on US30 at 373. A 34-year-old male was in the lane of travel and was struck by the Ford F150. The male in the roadway succumbed to his injures at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Ford was wearing a seatbelt.
The Bannock County Coroner’s Office, in cooperation with Idaho State Police, has confirmed the identity of the deceased following the single-vehicle fatality crash on US30 at milepost 373 near Lava Hot Springs on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023.
Deceased: Tyler Blair, 34, of Pocatello
Next of kin has been notified.
The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
“My deepest sympathies to Tyler’s friends and family as they grieve this sudden loss,” said Coroner Torey Danner.
