Calling all pumpkin carvers! Now’s your chance to show your stuff.
AMVETS Idaho Post 1 will be hosting a pumpkin carving contest on Thursday, October 19, starting at 6:00 p.m. and culminating with the pumpkin lighting at 8:30 p.m. The venue is the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N. Johnson Avenue in Pocatello.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own pumpkins and their favorite sculpting tools. (Limited supplies will also be available.) Prizes will be awarded for the following categories: Cutest, Funniest, Scariest, and Most Creative. Cider and cookies will be served.
