Pocatello–The Pocatello Police Department reports that they collected around 50 pounds of medication during Saturday’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event. On their social media page, the Department said:
Drug Take Back Day was a success! Partnered with Southeastern Public Health and The Center for Hope Peer Recovery Center approximately 50lbs of unused medications were safely collected and disposed of. We look forward to continuing this event with these organizations in the future and thank them for all the work that they do within our community.
If you missed dropping off medications today there is a drop off box in the Pocatello Police Department lobby that you can stop at anytime.
