In accordance with the City of Pocatello purchasing policy, Idaho Code 50-1010 and 67-450B, 67, and 28, and Code of Federal Regulations 2 CFR 200, the City is seeking to engage a qualified Certified Public Accounting firm to perform the Annual Single Audit of the Books and Records of the City of Pocatello. The successful respondent will be contracted for a three-year term with mutually agreeable options to extend the agreement up to 5 total years and the audit services to be performed will be focused on the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2024. This audit must comply with the Single Audit Act, as amended, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
Sealed proposals from interested firms to perform the annual single audit services for the City of Pocatello, Idaho must be submitted and be received and registered at the office of the Chief Financial Officer located at Pocatello City Hall, 911. N. 7th Avenue, Pocatello, ID 83201 by December 29, 2023, at 12: 00 PM MT, the “Submission Deadline.”
The City Council, with a recommendation from the City of Pocatello Audit and Investment Committee, will make the award of the contract. The City of Pocatello reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informality in the proposals if it appears to be in the City’s best interest. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available beginning on October 30, 2023, after 12:00 PM MT at Pocatello City Hall, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Pocatello, ID 83201 or by requesting the RFP Documents electronically – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interested firms shall submit a Proposal that must comply with all minimum requirements set forth in this RFP in order to be considered responsive. The proposals must be marked with the Firm’s Name, Date of Opening, and labeled “City of Pocatello – Independent Audit Services.”
Any questions pertaining to the scope of services in this solicitation should be submitted in writing. All answers will be in the form of an addendum and sent to registered respondents by 5:00 PM MT on December 18, 2023.
