(Representative Julianne Young Press Release, December 19, 2023)

Bingham County, ID – State Representative Julianne Young of Legislative District 30 Seat B has formally declared her candidacy for a fourth term, pledging continued service to the people of Idaho and the principles that have long guided her tenure.
A sixth-generation Idahoan, Julianne’s life story is a tapestry of hard work, educational pursuit, and a steadfast commitment to the values instilled by her family. From the rural countryside of Moreland to the halls of Idaho State University and beyond, her journey has been marked by a dedication to truth, compassion, and community service.
In the legislature, Julianne is recognized for her principled and conservative leadership, advocating for policies that uphold individual rights and adhere to the inspired tenets of the United States Constitution. Her efforts have been instrumental in steering Idaho towards a future that safeguards societal safety, happiness, and prosperity.
“In these challenging economic times, with inflation reaching into the pocketbook of every Idahoan and property taxes escalating to unsustainable levels, our commitment to fiscal prudence has never been more vital,” Rep. Young emphasizes. “Last session, we made strides in addressing these pressing issues, but our work is far from over. My ongoing mission is to relentlessly pursue policies that both alleviate the financial burden on our citizens, and secure the future of our beautiful state, ensuring that Idaho remains a wonderful place for Idahoans to live, work, and nurture families for generations to come.”
Rep. Young continues, “At the heart of our community is the family unit, a cornerstone that is increasingly under siege in today’s society. As your representative, my resolve is unshaken in safeguarding the integrity of the family. I will continue to tirelessly work to ensure that our legislative environment nurtures, rather than undermines, this fundamental unit. Our policies must reflect and reinforce the strength and stability of family structures, upholding the values that make Idaho not just prosperous, but also principled and resilient.”
Rep. Young’s dedication in the legislature is a reflection of her broader commitment to the well-being of Idaho families. This commitment is further exemplified by the upcoming launch of ‘Idaho Family Strong’ in January. This non-profit organization will empower parents to become effective advocates for their families, enhancing their ability to contribute to policy-making from their homes or workplaces.
“Between my continued legislative work and the exciting path ahead for ‘Idaho Family Strong,’ I am energized to continue serving the people of the beautiful state of Idaho,” Rep. Young concludes.
