Secure Our Border or Shut It Down

The Southern border has been a disaster over the last several years. The Biden administration has chosen not to enforce our laws. The Biden administration has been open about not securing our border and allowing the flood of illegals to pour into our Country.

You may ask what this has to do with Idaho. It has everything to do with Idaho: drug trafficking, child exploitation, and a drain on our public services have been impacted here. Failures of the White House have resulted in disastrous outcomes in Idaho.

There are “Republican” elected officials in Idaho wanting to provide amnesty to illegals. Last year’s Senate Joint Memorial 101 asked for that. Another example is a bill presented last year that would have allowed illegals to obtain an Idaho driver’s license. (Senate Bill 1081). Had the bill not been stopped, the flood of illegals to Idaho would have increased exponentially.

The State of Texas is standing strong as a sovereign state. I support these efforts to mitigate the invasion on the border. The State of Texas is saying enough is enough.

Their Governor has activated the Texas National Guard to secure their border after the Biden administration’s failed policies. Texas and all of these United States have the right and the moral authority to do this.

Now is the time for Idaho to stand strong. We must object to the disastrous policies on the southern border from the Biden administration. Texas is now protecting its citizens.

I am against amnesty to illegals and any incentive to promote illegal immigration, including driver’s licenses. There are legal ways to enter this great country. Bad behavior must not be rewarded. It’s time to either secure our border or shut it down.

I will not compromise on the sovereignty of our state and the citizens who live here. I will not compromise when protecting our children’s safety and future.

The May primary is just a few months away. I would appreciate your support in my run for the Senate seat in Legislative District 8. Our future depends on it.
