Idaho Falls–Greg Pruett, veteran and founder of the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, will speak tonight at Stand Up For Idaho’s weekly Town Hall Meeting. SUFI’s announcement reads:
The Right to protect yourself and your family is an unalienable Right, and a key element in being able to protect ourselves is the ability, and Right, to arm yourself. The 2nd Amendment to our Constitution helps protect our Right and says ”… the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”. However, the 2nd Amendment is constantly being challenged with the intent of taking away our Right to keep and bear Arms. The word “arms” refers collectively to offensive or defensive weapons, including ‘guns’.
Greg Pruett is the Founder and President of the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance. Greg started the ISAA so Idahoans could have a local no compromise, pro-2nd Amendment organization that could fight at the local level for Idaho’s gun owners. Greg believes Idaho is one of the last places in the country for gun owners to flee to. However, he believes that if we don’t preserve what we have, we will fall like other states such as California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.”
Greg will speak about legislation and what’s happening with gun control in Idaho. The 2nd Amendment is very important for protecting our Rights, our country, and the American way of life. We strongly encourage everyone to come and be prepared to ask questions.
Stand Up For Idaho is an Idaho Falls-based nonpartisan citizens’ organization that peacefully and actively advocates for the rights and liberties of all Idaho citizens. They hold their weekly meetings at the Snake River Event Center (Shilo Inn), located at 780 Lindsay Blvd. in Idaho Falls. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.
