March 13, 2024
Idaho Falls–First Aid expert Jerry Young will be the featured speaker at Stand Up For Idaho’s Town Hall Meeting this evening (Wednesday, March 6). SUFI’s announcement reads:
Are you prepared to help yourself or others when faced with a medical emergency? Do you have a first aid/medical kit in all of your vehicles and at home? Do you know what is in your first aid kit? Do you know how to use what is in your first aid kit? Have you considered the types of emergencies you might face at home or on the road? Have you had first aid training?
This will not be medical training but it will be an opportunity to learn from a professional about what you should consider having in your first aid/medical kit in order to help in an emergency.
Jerry Young has a Emergency Medical Technician (EMS) license and is a National Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P) for the past 12 years. He has completed courses in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). His experience includes work with Stanley Ambulance, Acute Rescue and Transport, Haiti Medical Relief, National Ski Patrol, and International Impact through Medicine (overseas).
We strongly encourage everyone to come and be prepared to ask questions. Attendance is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
