Idaho Falls–Stand Up For Idaho has invited Idaho Falls Power Manager Bear Prairie to discuss the question of dam breaching at their Town Hall meeting this Wednesday, March 20.  SUFI’s announcement reads:

Have you heard about Congressman Mike Simpson’s and the Biden Administration’s plans for breaching four Lower Snake River dams in order to protect salmon populations?  What effect will this have across Idaho?  How will it affect the power supply?  The proposed breaching creates numerous complexities.

Bear Prairie, General Manager of Idaho Falls Power and Idaho Falls Fiber, will be at Stand Up For Idaho’s weekly Town Hall on March 20th to discuss his perspectives on the complexities of breaching the dams.  Breaching of the dams will definitely have some impact on all Idahoans and we strongly encourage everyone to come and be prepared to ask questions.

Attendance is free but donations are greatly appreciated.

Stand Up For Idaho is an Idaho Falls-based nonpartisan citizens’ organization that peacefully and actively advocates for the rights and liberties of all Idaho citizens.  They hold their weekly meetings at the Snake River Event Center (Shilo Inn), located at 780 Lindsay Blvd. in Idaho Falls.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
