Pocatello–As part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the Pocatello Police Department be at tomorrow’s Portneuf Environmental Fair to take back any unwanted prescription drugs community members have in their homes.  In a Facebook post they share the details:

The Pocatello Police Department will be at the Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair this Saturday, April 27th at Lookout Point in Historic Downtown Pocatello for National Drug Take Back Day.

Stop by the Pocatello Police Department’s tent at Lookout Point on April 27th from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. to dispose of any unwanted, unused, or expired medications. This event allows community members to safely dispose of all non-liquid prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vape pens, cartridges, and other e-cigarette devices. We can NOT accept liquid medications, needles or other sharps, IV tubing, or IV bags.

If you are not able to make it to the Environmental Fair, you can dispose of medications during regular business hours at the Pocatello Police Department located at 911 N. 7th Ave. in Pocatello.
