On Monday, August 5, the group “Patriots for Liberty & Constitution” will be discussing Anti-Federalist 36, 30-31, and 32.
The group meets starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday evenings at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, 202 S. 7th Avenue in Pocatello
The event details read: “Anti-Federalist 36, 30-31, 32. Next week we will be discussing AFED 36, 30-31, 32. These papers discuss the topic of taxation. Note that this is the second round of discussions on taxation, and the Anti-Federalists are driving the discussion. In the second round of discussion, the arguments are forceful and well thought out.
I would like to add a mentor note. While I assigned three papers, we might be unable to review them all. This is because paper 32 is excellent. In my opinion, AFED 32 and 33 are the best written papers in the entire Anti-Federalist collection. We will get to them eventually. Read them slowly and take good notes.”
