Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day, and local non-profit POW*MIA Awareness Rally and Motorcycle Rodeo will be holding a ceremony this evening in commemoration.  The ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Southeastern Idaho Veterans Memorial, South 4th Avenue, Upper Ross Park in Pocatello.

In a social media post, the group says, “This is a wonderful ceremony that is open to the public and we encourage you to bring someone as we remind everyone to Never Forget.

Pocatello Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol will post our nation’s colors. We will have proclamations from the mayor’s, governor’s and senator’s offices as well as remarks from our organization. There will be a Missing Man Table Ceremony and a rifle volley with Taps to be performed.”
