The City of Pocatello is hosting an open house regarding the replacement of the Benton Street Bridge over the Portneuf River.

The purpose of the open house is to provide interested individuals, agencies, groups, and others an opportunity to learn more about the project and comment on the bridge and roadway design. The open house will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Public Services Annex, 2405 Garrett Way, Pocatello, ID 83201.

The Local Highway Technical Assistance Council is managing the design and construction for this project. The bridge is being funded through the Leading Idaho Local Bridge (LILB) program. These funds are state funds authorized by the Idaho Legislature. Under the LILB program, there is no cost to the City of Pocatello for this project. Keller Associates, Inc will be providing the engineering design.
