The AMVETS Post 1 annual pumpkin carving contest is tomorrow, Thursday, October 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N Johnson Avenue, Pocatello.
The event includes a carving contest, trophies, cookies, apple cider, and cocoa.
Their social media post announcing the event reads, “This Thursday we will be hosting our annual contest. It’s always fun to see what creative thing everyone comes up with. Everyone is welcome. We usually have a bunch of tools and a few pumpkins on hand in case you forget yours. Come have fun and leave the mess with us.”
