Yesterday on the Idaho Signal podcast, “Idaho’s only daily live program dedicated to covering and analyzing the Idaho Statehouse and legislative session,” host Matt Edwards addresses allegations that the Idaho National Guard has effectively instituted a “No Christians in Command” policy.
The podcast is entitled, “Idaho Army Nat’l Guard Major reprimanded and put on leave for being Christian?” The National Guard officer referred to is Major David Worley, who ran for the Idaho Senate in legislative district 29 in 2022. According to Edwards, Worley, who has over two decades with the National Guard, “has a case against Governor Little as Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard and a couple of other Generals…because he has been put on paid leave for the better part of a year-and-a-half now…for what appears to be simply for being a Christian guy who’s standing up for common sense values.”
